"The Ink" toons

From '89 - '92 , when I was working at Don Bluth Studios in Burbank, we had an inside comic paper called The Ink. It was a revamped edition of the in house comics that we had in the Dublin studio that John Eddings headed up called The Fourth Floor Funnies. We had a lot of fun making fun of whatever situations arose in the studio. This is one from one of our background painters, a very talented guy named Sean Sullivan who went onto be bg supervisor down at Disney Florida before they closed shop.

Back when people were leaving Bluth in droves for other studios like Kroyer, Disney, Hyperion, etc, Sean depicted our management trying to fire these people 'after' they left as some sort of damage control. More comics to come.

Aren't these Blogs fun? I work on mine now and then.

Haven't seen or heard from him in a long time. I saw him last at the guild Christmas party last year, but that's about the only time I see people I've not seen in a while. Thanks for checking out the blog. Yeah, they are fun.
